What You'll Do: As a Developer/Analyst, you'll play an important role in development on our team projects. You will be working on our internal applications, learning about the business and how it works, fixing bugs, building new features and testing.

 

The specific responsibilities outlined below may evolve over time and are at the discretion of the Director of Applications.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using technologies including ASP.NET, MVC, Razor, C#, and MySQL, ensuring scalable and high-quality code.
  • Develop and execute automated testing processes, including maintaining test suites and supporting integration with the release and deployment pipeline.
  • Contribute to product development and enhancement efforts by gaining a strong understanding of system functionality, business requirements, and user needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to support development initiatives, share knowledge, and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by staying current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and development best practices, and applying those insights to enhance team capabilities and product quality.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or related field
  • A friendly, communicative person who enjoys working in a team, able to communicate well in English (written and verbal).
  • Proven experience as a full-stack Developer, in a small development team with 3+ years development experience preferred.
  • Experience with automated QA testing.
  • Strong proficiency in ASP.Net, MVC, Razor, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, RESTful APIs.
  • Strong proficiency with relational databases: mySQL, SQL Server, or similar.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement and innovation
  • Strong business acumen and ability to drive strategic initiatives
  • Embraces and facilitates change management effectively
  • The ability to work independently and willingness to travel as necessary (for required, in-person staff meetings)
  • A passion for helping others / embracing the “Outward Mindset”

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of / desire to learn and adopt advanced and rapidly changing technologies
  • Experience with accounting and financial reporting
  • Advanced experience with cloud services (GCP, Azure, AWS)
  • Experience with PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Power BI, and other components of the Microsoft environment
  • Experience with data visualization libraries (D3 or similar)

  • For full-time positions, we offer:

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. Total compensation may increase with eligibility for various bonuses. A professional development reimbursement and technology stipend are provided on an annual basis. Please note that the base salary offered may vary depending on relevant factors as determined by Your Part-Time Controller, LLC, which may include, but is not limited to, education, skill, experience, licensure and certifications, internal salary ranges, geographical location, and other business needs.
